Eliza Kelly is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (Provisional) and a member of Dietitians Australia and Sports Dietitians Australia.

Eliza graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) in 2020 and completed a Masters of Dietetics in 2022 from Curtin University.

Eliza is a committed and enthusiastic Dietitian who is passionate about all things food and nutrition and providing evidence based patient-centered care. She is motivated to identify what to add into your diet to fuel and sustain you throughout the day rather than looking at things to take away. Eliza focuses on variety and optimising nutritional adequacy when creating personalised approaches to nutrition and training.

Eliza works with athletes and “non athletes” on all nutrition related issues including gut health, heart health, diabetes and allergies|intolerances.

Background

Throughout her studies she worked as a swimming instructor, rowing coach and personal trainer with a specialty in boxing. Eliza has always had a passion for sport with a background of rowing and has now moved towards distance swimming, cycling and running.

Eliza is embarking on a lap of Australia mid November 2024 and will be available via Telehealth during this time.

Georgia earned her Master of Dietetics degree from Curtin University in 2021 and has since built a strong foundation in nutrition through her work in both clinical and private practice settings. She has had the opportunity to support clients with a range of chronic health conditions.

Georgia has completed several education courses and updates including

  • WAEDOCS Workshop: Eating Disorders – Essentials or Dietetics

Background

A passionate runner and pilates enthusiast, Georgia has a particular interest in sports nutrition. Her experience includes working with the Eagles AFL and AFLW teams, as well as assisting in the development of nutrition plans for a popular CrossFit gym during her studies.

Georgia adopts a client-centered approach, aiming to empower individuals to improve their health. She provides personalised nutritional guidance that encourages sustainable lifestyle changes for better nutrition and overall well-being.

sCarla completed her Master of Dietetics in 2020 at Curtin University. Throughout her study Carla volunteered with the Perth Glory Dietitian to help fuel the team preparing breakfast and after games meals.

Background

Carla is passionate about working with individuals to achieve their goals using a patient-centred framework. She has a strong belief that food is more than just the sum of it’s nutrients and has an important role in connecting people as well as assisting individuals to learn new skills such as, cooking and organisation (especially adolescents). Carla will work with you to optimise your nutrition to help enhance your performance both on and off the field!

Carla has worked with individuals to assist in managing high cholesterol, high blood pressure, coeliac disease and type 2 diabetes.

Carla also enjoys trying to get a new personal best on her 5km runs and training for half marathon.

Simone – Advanced Sports Dietitian

Simone Allen is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, an Advanced Sports Dietitian with over 20 years experience and was a Board Member of Sports Dietitians Australia for 11 years.

Simone works with several sporting groups including being the Sports Dietitian for Wesley College LTAD program and WA Ballet and was the Team Dietitian for West Coast Eagles for nine years. Simone is also lecturing in Exercise and Sports Nutrition at Curtin Uni and is a member of the AIS Mental Health Referral Network (MHRN) team.

Background

Simone was a Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach for 15 years, travelling annually with the WA State team, and appreciates the importance of realistic and appropriate advice.

Simone loves racing in the Busselton and participates most years in the  Half Marathon and Jetty Swim in February each year and has completed Busso Ironman 70.3 in 2014 , 2015, 2017, 2018, twice in 2019, 2021 and 2022.  Simone also completed Busselton Ironman 2018 in 12:08. Simone is currently training to represent Australian at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Taupo, NZ in 2024.

Due to current high demands, Simone is prioritising these bookings (over  “General” or “Medicare Enhanced Care Plans”) to reduce waiting times for athletes training for events, clients with eating disorders and other clients needing specialised nutrition advice. Kelly – Admin Queen

Kelly is our amazing receptionist and will assist you with booking, rescheduling or cancelling appointments if you have any trouble with our online bookings.

Kelly will also sets up Medicare Care plans and DVA cases so make sure you send in your care plans and referrals to admin@nutritionworks.com.au

 

 Abbie – Accredited Practising Dietitian + Book keeper

Abbie is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and a member of Dietitians Association of Australia.

Abbie graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) in 2017 and completed a Masters of Dietetics in 2019 from Curtin University.
Throughout University Abbie completed placements at St John of God Murdoch Hospital, Perth Children’s Hospital, Hall & Prior Aged Care, Cockburn Integrated Health and Bunbury Regional Hospital.
Abbie also travelled to South East India to work in a centre for children with Cerebral Palsy as part of her Dietetic studies.
